US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has amended the maximum permitted level of vitamin D3 in dairy products
On September 3, 2025, the U.S. Federal Register announced that the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) issued Notice 2025-16946, amending the maximum permitted level of vitamin D3 as a nutritional supplement in yogurt fermented with Lactobacillus bulgaricus and Streptococcus thermophilus, as well as other dairy products.
